Who we are
This website is operated by [ADSA legal entity name], [registered address] (“ADSA”, “we”). ADSA sources material handling equipment from verified suppliers for buyers and manages the resulting orders. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, ADSA is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
Grievance Officer: [name], [email], [phone]. You can contact them about anything in this policy.
What we collect
Buyers: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email (optional), company or yard name (optional), district and state, and the requirement you describe (products, output, plant stages, timeline, budget if you give one). We also keep a record of the consent you gave and when.
Campaign information: if you arrive from an advertisement or campaign link, we store the campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or gclid) and the page you landed on, and attach them to your enquiry. These tags do not identify you.
Suppliers: account email, company details, contact person, phone, GSTIN, PAN, uploaded verification documents, listings and the quotes you send us.
After-sales: when you raise a service request, the order reference, the phone number you give, the problem you describe and the progress of the request.
Security: to limit spam we use a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time. We do not store your IP address itself with your enquiry.
Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics and advertising measurement [and Meta Pixel, if enabled] to understand how the site is used and which campaigns lead to enquiries.
Why we use it
To prepare a quote for you, contact you about it, place and manage your order, arrange delivery and installation, and provide after-sales service, including warranty checks.
To verify suppliers and manage their listings, quotes and orders.
To protect the site from spam and misuse.
With your consent, to measure the site and our advertising.
Who we share it with
Suppliers: to get quotes, we send up to three verified suppliers per plant stage a description of your requirement and your delivery district and state. We do not send them your name, phone number, email, company or your own words. When you place an order, only the supplier we place that order with receives your delivery contact details, so they can deliver and install.
After-sales: if ADSA needs the supplier of your equipment to help with a service request, we share the request details with that supplier, who already has your delivery contact from the order.
Service providers who process data for us: hosting and database ([Supabase / region]), website hosting ([Vercel / region]), email delivery ([Resend]), and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google [and Meta]. They may process data outside India, subject to the Act and any restrictions notified under it.
Where required by law, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and quotes: [for example, 3 years after our last contact with you], unless an order follows, in which case we keep order records for [8 years, or as required by tax and company law].
Supplier records: for as long as the supplier is registered with ADSA, and afterwards for [period] or as required by law.
Spam-protection data: [24 hours].
Your rights
You can ask us for a summary of your personal data and how we use it, ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it, withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn't affect what we did before), and nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot.
Contact the Grievance Officer above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep suppliers and ADSA staff signed in. A first-party cookie stores campaign tags for up to 30 days so we can tell which campaign led to an enquiry; it contains no personal details.
Videos on machine pages are provided by YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; the player then uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that video.
Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
